Jeff Roth, Vice President

Jeff is an avid outdoorsman that grew up in Ste Genevieve County Missouri on a family farm that had deep roots in the outdoors. His career path for the past 32 years has been in the aviation field, building and repairing transport and fighter jets for the military, currently working on F/A 18 Super Hornet Program. As Jeff’s two sons got older, he missed the feeling of mentoring in the outdoors. He became involved with Missouri Disabled Sportsmen through an invite from a friend as a volunteer in 2014 and found that mentoring void not only filled but overflowing. Jeff was nominated and elected to the Board of Directors in 2017. He has served as Board Secretary and is currently serving as Vice President. He has spearheaded a few new events for the organization including adding bow fishing, rabbit and snow goose hunting to the services MDS offers.

Michael Copenhaver, Director

Mike was born and raised in northeast Missouri and introduced to the outdoors lifestyle at a young age.  During his years in the military he found himself living across the globe and it afforded him the opportunity to hunt & fish and experience the outdoors outside of Missouri.  After leaving the military Mike returned to northeast Missouri and continued his passion of hunting & fishing and the outdoors.  In 2020 while dove hunting on some MDC public land, Mike happened across a Missouri Disabled Sportsmen banner and Mr. Randy Walker.  Mike and Randy exchanged information and then he quickly joined the ranks. Since coming on board Mike has volunteered hundreds of hours and was excited to be nominated for a board position. Mike is also involved in the youth hunt mentoring efforts with the Missouri Department of Conservation guiding youth and teaching firearms safety courses.
