Board of Directors
Peter Eisentrager, President
Pete was born and raised in central Minnesota where his passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors took it's roots. He moved to mid-Missouri in 1996 to attend college on a soccer scholarship and has called Missouri home ever since. He enjoys hunting deer, turkey, waterfowl, upland birds, as well as fishing. Pete also volunteers with the Missouri Department of Conservation as a Hunter Education Instructor. He's been involved with MDS since 2009 and has dedicated thousands of hours to guiding youth and mobility impaired hunters over that time.
Jeff Roth, Vice President
Jeff is an avid outdoorsman that grew up in Ste Genevieve County Missouri on a family farm that had deep roots in the outdoors. His career path for the past 32 years has been in the aviation field, building and repairing transport and fighter jets for the military, currently working on F/A 18 Super Hornet Program. As Jeff’s two sons got older, he missed the feeling of mentoring in the outdoors. He became involved with Missouri Disabled Sportsmen through an invite from a friend as a volunteer in 2014 and found that mentoring void not only filled but overflowing. Jeff was nominated and elected to the Board of Directors in 2017. He has served as Board Secretary and is currently serving as Vice President. He has spearheaded a few new events for the organization including adding bow fishing, rabbit and snow goose hunting to the services MDS offers.
Randy Walker, Treasurer
Randy is a lifelong NE Missouri resident and has been involved in Missouri Disabled Sportsmen since it's inception in 2008. He grew up hunting whitetails, turkey, upland birds, and fishing all over that area of the state. Randy and his wife Jenny own & operate a custom woodworking shop in Leonard, MO and open their home & property several times every year to host mobility impaired and youth outdoor events. Randy has dedicated thousands of volunteer hours to recruiting and getting the people we serve into the outdoors.
William Hall, Secretary
William was born in raised in the boot-heel of Missouri where his passion for hunting ducks, deer, and turkey began. He still resides in the area where he works at a local logistics company in his hometown. William became involved with MDS in 2010 as a mobility impaired hunter. William enjoys meeting other mobility impaired individuals through the organization and mentoring them about the outdoors.
Michael Copenhaver, Director
Mike was born and raised in northeast Missouri and introduced to the outdoors lifestyle at a young age. During his years in the military he found himself living across the globe and it afforded him the opportunity to hunt & fish and experience the outdoors outside of Missouri. After leaving the military Mike returned to northeast Missouri and continued his passion of hunting & fishing and the outdoors. In 2020 while dove hunting on some MDC public land, Mike happened across a Missouri Disabled Sportsmen banner and Mr. Randy Walker. Mike and Randy exchanged information and then he quickly joined the ranks. Since coming on board Mike has volunteered hundreds of hours and was excited to be nominated for a board position. Mike is also involved in the youth hunt mentoring efforts with the Missouri Department of Conservation guiding youth and teaching firearms safety courses.
Rob Garver, Director
Rob grew up where the Sac and Osage rivers meet and inherently became a catfish's worst nightmare. After graduating college with a BA in Outdoor Recreation from Northwest Missouri State University, he took a position with the Education Branch in the Missouri Department of Conservation. He has since aquired a Masters degree in Criminal Justice; Leadership and Executive Management. Since January 2022 Rob has been the State Coordinator for Outdoor Skills and National Archery in the Schools Program. He resides in northeast Missouri with his wife, two girls, and two gun dogs.
