2023 Mobility Impaired and Youth Hunter - Tom Peak Memorial Upland Bird Hunt 



Free upland bird hunt for mobility impaired and youth (ages 8-17) hunters.

Missouri Disabled Sportsmen in partnership with Little Sprauge Gundogs & Game Birds and the Department of Conservation will be hosting thirty (30) mobility impaired and/or youth (8-17 years old) hunters for our annual upland bird hunt. This hunt is free of charge to the selected participants.
 

The day will consist of check-in, clay bird shooting and instruction, a continental shoot, lunch, raffle, and end with small group field hunts behind well-trained dogs and thier handlers.
 

MDS and the Department of Conservation will have track chairs on-site. We'll also have a team of experieced mentors and safety supervisors to assist each hunter throughout the day as well as other adative equipment.
 

This is a family friendly event focused on safe firearm instruction and handling, commaraderie, learning from top end dog handlers, and burning a lot of powder!

Participants must be able to safely handle a firearm under their own control or the assitance of adaptive equipment.
 

Selected applicants will be notified of their inclusion to participate in the event approximatley two weeks prior.
